Announcements – Hilltop High School - Tuesday, January 13, 2026
JH Student Council will meet today during Academy in the HS conference room.
7th grade: Anyone who would like to join the JH Quiz Bowl Team should see Mr. Hurd during Academy sometime this week.
FFA members: The FFA group picture will be taken tomorrow at 2:50 in the HS gym. Be sure to wear FFA or Hilltop colors. The January FFA meeting will be held this Friday during Academy and lunch. Pizza, chips, and pop will be provided. Spring strawberry sales will start on Friday.
Girls in 7th and 8th grade: There is a sign-up sheet in the office for those of you who are interested in playing junior high spring softball this season. Sign-up ends January 23rd. See Coach Schaper if you have any questions.
Juniors: Reminder to sign up on the Google Form for the prom planning days. We need everyone who can attend! Our first meeting is this Saturday at Wyse Guys at noon. Please bring money if you plan to eat.

Congratulations to the Freshmen boys for defeating Toledo Christian on Saturday.
Also, congratulations to both the 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls for defeating Edon on Saturday.
The Hilltop archery club competed in their first tournament this past weekend. Congratulations to Emily Suydam and Cameron Marvin who were both medal winners in their divisions.

8th graders: Meet in the library today 4th period for a 4-County presentation for your visit there in January.
JUNIORS: A ballot will be sent out to vote for prom after lunch today. You have until the end of the day tomorrow to vote.
Students: Check your email. It is very important to fill out the lunch count survey. The cafeteria needs to know if you are eating lunch here during exams.
Those in the musical: There will be a rehearsal after school tomorrow at 3:10-3:30 for Ensemble and 3:10-4:15 for named roles. If you are unable to attend, please see Mr. B.
