8th graders: Meet in the library today 4th period for a 4-County presentation for your visit there in January.
JUNIORS: A ballot will be sent out to vote for prom after lunch today. You have until the end of the day tomorrow to vote.
Students: Check your email. It is very important to fill out the lunch count survey. The cafeteria needs to know if you are eating lunch here during exams.
Those in the musical: There will be a rehearsal after school tomorrow at 3:10-3:30 for Ensemble and 3:10-4:15 for named roles. If you are unable to attend, please see Mr. B.

The winner of the canned food contest is Mrs. DeGroff’s Academy. You will receive Tammy Kesler’s cupcakes. Between the elementary and the JH/HS, 845 cans of food were brought. Thank you for your generosity in giving to our food pantry.
At the Spelling Bee yesterday 1st runner up was Ethan Altman, and our spelling bee champion was Brett Neely. Congratulations!

Congratulations to the following November Students of the Month: Ahlea Judy, Gavin Smith, Tessa Jones, Ivan Brehm, Carlee Schaffner, Lynley Day-Hemenway, Hannah Willson, Rachel Dickinson, Connor Prater, Bryce Peters, Braydee Towns, Nate Waue, Brayden Tyler, Lillian Snow, Tina Dickinson, Amelia Culbertson, Demi Hancock, Caelan Nofziger, and Kaydence Stough. These students will be announced out of class at 11:15 to the lobby for a picture.
Our spelling bee is today at 1:15. Good luck to the following contestants – 8th grade Lilyana Mazey, Ivan Brehm, Brett Neely, Grace Schuurman, Katelyn Yeupell, Divinity Smith 7th grade: Gavin Smith, Ethan Altman, Amelia Culbertson, Dalton Meyers, Alana Tressler, and Annalyn Bauman.

- Those interested in applying for your State FFA Degrees should come to the ag room during Academy to work on your application.

It's not too late to sign up for Annie! Talk to Mr. B or Mrs. Horton by the end of the day today if you are interested in joining either as an actor or crew.
Semester exams are next Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. You can only be excused from study hall, CCP, or your Academy period. To do this, you must bring a parent note to the office by next Monday.

- Christmas doors will be judged this Friday.
Students be sure and bring your non-perishable items for the FFA food drive to your Academy tomorrow.
Be sure to decorate your doors for the FFA Christmas door decorating contest. Judging will be this Friday.
Annie Auditions are happening today. If you are interested and haven't signed up yet, please sign up for a time slot soon or talk to Mr. B or Mrs. Horton! There is a crew signup sheet posted as well.

Congratulations to Paeton Cameron, Grace Schuurman, and Arend Schuurman for making it into the OMEA District 1 honors choir.
Thank you to all who donated a toy or money for our Christmas for Kids. Our school raised $1,013.06. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

FFA Members: Those interested in applying for their State FFA Degree should come to Ms. Frey’s room today during Academy to begin working on the application.
JH Student Council: You will be recycling today. See Mrs. Fidler in the JH hallway for a trash bag.
Softball open gym for today will be from 3:15-4:15. If you can attend, meet outside the weight room at 3:15. Also, the December schedule has been revised. Please see Coach Schaper for an amended schedule.
For anyone interested in joining Annie, the musical, please take an audition packet and sign up for a time outside the choir room. Auditions are next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. There will be a crew signup sheet posted next week.
Start collecting your non-perishable items for the FFA food drive next week. Bring your items to your Academy next Tuesday and Thursday.
The Music Department will be presenting its Christmas concert this Sunday afternoon, band at 2:00 and choir at 4:00. Everyone is invited to attend.
