Announcements – Hilltop High School - Friday, January 16, 2026
Congratulations to the varsity girls for defeating Montpelier last night.
Good luck to Nayah Rodriguez as Miss West Unity as she competes this Sunday at Edon HS in the Pride of Williams County Pageant.
Come on out to tonight's boys basketball game vs Montpelier and buy some Crumbl cookies to support your Hilltop cheerleading squad!
Today’s lunch is calzone, side salad, fruit, and milk.
FFA members: The January FFA meeting will be held today during Academy and lunch. Pizza, chips, and pop will be provided. Spring strawberry sales will start today.
JH Student Council: You will be recycling today. Mrs. Fidler will have trash bags for you.
8th grade: You will be visiting Four County next Thursday morning. You need to wear long pants and close-toed shoes.
Girls in 7th and 8th grade: There is a sign-up sheet in the office for those of you who are interested in playing junior high spring softball this season. Sign-up ends next Friday. See Coach Schaper if you have any questions.
Juniors: Reminder to sign up on the Google Form for the prom planning days. We need everyone who can attend! Our first meeting is tomorrow at Wyse Guys at noon. Please bring money if you plan to eat.

JH Student Council will meet today during Academy in the HS conference room.
7th grade: Anyone who would like to join the JH Quiz Bowl Team should see Mr. Hurd during Academy sometime this week.
FFA members: The FFA group picture will be taken tomorrow at 2:50 in the HS gym. Be sure to wear FFA or Hilltop colors. The January FFA meeting will be held this Friday during Academy and lunch. Pizza, chips, and pop will be provided. Spring strawberry sales will start on Friday.

Also, congratulations to both the 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls for defeating Edon on Saturday.
The Hilltop archery club competed in their first tournament this past weekend. Congratulations to Emily Suydam and Cameron Marvin who were both medal winners in their divisions.
