Announcements – Hilltop High School - Thursday, January 22, 2026
There will be no chef salads in the cafeteria today.
Juniors: Don't forget our last meeting to plan for prom is this Saturday at noon in the commons.
Juniors: You will receive an email today to vote on your meal options for dinner for prom. It will be open until noon tomorrow for voting.
Girls in 7th and 8th grade: Sign-up in the office by this Friday if you are interested in playing junior high spring softball this season.
Anyone who let Mrs. Massie borrow their marshmallow roasting sticks for the homecoming bonfire last fall, please go to her classroom to get them.
There is a scheduled 2-hour delay next Wednesday morning, January 28 for a teacher in-service.
Seniors: Cap and gowns and graduation orders can be picked up in the lobby next Wednesday morning, January 28 starting at 9:30 at the end of the scheduled 2-hour delay. The balance due must be paid online or bring the exact cash to receive your items.
Sophomores: Those wanting to take the pre-ACT test need to sign up in the office by Friday, January 30.
Sophomores: Four County priority registration ends February 1st. If you want to turn in an application, do it soon. If you need help applying, see Mrs. Fidler.

Congratulations to the varsity boys for defeating Continental Saturday night.
Also, congratulations to the 8th grade boys for their win over North Central last night.
Congratulations to Nayah Rodriguez for receiving the Best Smile award at Sunday’s Williams County Queens pageant.
Today’s menu is sriracha chicken, mega chicken, potato smiles, celery, fruit, and milk.
8th grade: You will be visiting Four County tomorrow morning. You must wear long pants and close-toed shoes.

Good luck to Nayah Rodriguez as Miss West Unity as she competes this Sunday at Edon HS in the Pride of Williams County Pageant.
Come on out to tonight's boys basketball game vs Montpelier and buy some Crumbl cookies to support your Hilltop cheerleading squad!

7th grade: Anyone who would like to join the JH Quiz Bowl Team should see Mr. Hurd during Academy sometime this week.
FFA members: The FFA group picture will be taken tomorrow at 2:50 in the HS gym. Be sure to wear FFA or Hilltop colors. The January FFA meeting will be held this Friday during Academy and lunch. Pizza, chips, and pop will be provided. Spring strawberry sales will start on Friday.

Also, congratulations to both the 7th grade boys and 8th grade girls for defeating Edon on Saturday.
The Hilltop archery club competed in their first tournament this past weekend. Congratulations to Emily Suydam and Cameron Marvin who were both medal winners in their divisions.
