Congratulations to the JV boys for defeating Montpelier last Friday night.

Also, congratulations to the 8th grade girls for their win over Holgate on Saturday.

All Sophomores:  You will be visiting Four County this Thursday morning.  Please wear long pants and close-toed shoes. 

Students in grades 7-12 Those interested in Esports ****are to sign up in the office.  There will be a meeting in the library during Academy next Wednesday, December 11.

The FFA is sponsoring an Academy Door Decorating Contest, December 9-12.  The judging will take place on the 13th.  The winner will receive Tammie Kessler’s Cupcakes on the 16th. 

Auditions for the spring musical, “Willy Wonka” will take place the week of December 9.  If you are interested in auditioning, take an audition packet from outside the choir room or in the office.  You can sign up for an audition time on the window outside the choir room.  If you cannot make it to any of the audition times or have any other questions, please see Mr. B. or Mrs. Horton.

Seniors going on the trip: You are to meet next Monday morning, December 9 at 7:40 in Miss Yoh's room.

Due to the low wind chills on Thursday, the Hilltop Student Council's Christmas for Kids Live Toy Drive has been rescheduled for this Friday, December 6 from 7:30 to 8:30 and from 2:00 to 3:30. Please bring in new toys and any monetary donations this Friday.  The kids in our area who are in need will really appreciate receiving a gift on Christmas, and you can help to make that happen.

Today at 1:30 is the staff vs. students games.  You will be announced out of class. 

The Elf Dash for Cash will take place during the games.  The class that gets the most money will get a spirit cake party.

Students: We, the staff, hope you've had as much fun as we have this week with our secret spirit week.  We are inviting you, the students, to try and out-dress the staff next week.  Monday will be "Red and White" Day.  Tuesday will be "Ohio State/Michigan" Day. Let's see who can beat whom!

Congratulations to the following Americanism Test winners:  ***Seniors: Landon Stuckey, Izabella Cardarelli, Juniors:  Nathan Wieland and Lynley Day-Hemenway, *** Sophomores:  Bryce Peters and Kelsy Connolly.  The two seniors will each receive a $100 scholarship.  These students are to meet in the office tomorrow morning at 8:00 for a picture.
