NEW INFORMATION AS OF 08/30/2024

With our new email, texting, and phone communications system, we have been working to correct some errors with users who should not have been included (ie emergency contacts and individual pick-ups), as well as some errors for users who should have been included in our new system. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve the quality of our communications setup. Moving forward, below are some items to note regarding users who wish to receive our district notifications:

• By default, our system will be sending text, phone, and email notifications to users who (a) are listed as custodians of a student, or (b) have the student documented as living at their residence.
• To receive texts, these users will now need to opt in to text communications per national SMS standards. To opt in to district notifications via text, simply text YES to 79041. You will then receive a confirmation text that you are subscribed to BrightArrow notifications.
• If there are any additional users that would like to receive notifications outside of the above criteria listed, they can call the respective school office and be added to the notification lists. If you would also like your student(s) to receive text/call notifications, please let your school office know.
• If you are receiving notifications via text, phone, or email, and would not like to, please contact the district to be placed on the no-call list.

If you have student(s) attending Millcreek-West Unity School and have not received any messages via your phone, email, or text messaging system, please contact your child's school office.

If you are not a parent but would like to receive notifications, please call our central office to be added to our additional users call list, and to learn about our new web app offered in conjunction with our website. If you have any questions about the app, please call 419-924-2365 ext. 2321. School delays, closures, and other notices are to be posted on our website as well as our app, in addition to text, phone, and email. These are all great ways for babysitters, grandparents, and friends to get our district notifications.
