Congratulations to the Advanced Parli Pro team for placing 1st in the county contest yesterday. The team will have practice today and tomorrow during Academy.

Also, congratulations to the Novice Parli Pro team for placing 2nd at the county competition yesterday. The team will have practice today and tomorrow during Academy.

Junior Class Officers meet today in the library during Academy.

Juniors please stop by the concession stand today before lunch and pick up a free pop, Gatorade or candy.

The Cross Country Awards program will be held tonight at 6:30 in The Commons.

All those interested in indoor track: Please sign up in the office today.

Juniors and Seniors: Those who are not taking any of Ms. Bruner’s classes and want to take the Americanism test, you need to see her today. The test will be given tomorrow.

Faculty vs. student basketball and volleyball games will be played Monday afternoon November 24. Sign up in the office to play against the staff.

The Veteran’s Day program is this afternoon at 1:30. The periods have been adjusted. When the program is over, you will report to your 8th period class

The induction of the new NHS members is tonight at 8:00 in The Commons.

Tomorrow morning there will be a 2-hour delay for a teacher Inservice.

Thank you to all who participated in the play for the very dramatic performances this past weekend.

The Quiz Team fought hard during Friday's WCAL tournament. They lost to the 2nd place Bryan Bears in the first round but attempted to battle their way back through the loser's bracket. They were able to overcome Edon, scoring 150 points. Unfortunately, they lost to Montpelier in double-elimination. In individual scoring, Nathan Wieland earned 4th place! Congrats to our Quiz Bowl Team on a job well done!

Congratulations to the Food Science Team for placing 3rd at the District Contest last Thursday. Members are: Rachel Dickinson, Zakk Cammack, Ashtyn Sanders, Addison Smith, and Carlee Schaffner.

Also, congratulations to the District Job Interview participants: Carlee Scahffner, placed 5th in Division I; Ashtyn Sanders, placed 4th in Division II, Addison Smith, placed 11th in Division II, Bryce Peters, placed 2nd in Division III, and Zakk Cammack, placed 8th in Division IV.

Starting today the high school and junior high locker rooms will be locked from 8am-3pm

Starting tomorrow all cell phones and smart watches.will not be allowed during the school day. They must be turned off and either in your locker or in your car.

Tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 is our Veteran’s Day program. You are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue in honor of the Veterans who will be attending. Also, those who drive to school are to park over by the bus barn tomorrow morning to allow more parking for the veteran’s coming to the program.

You will be announced out of class at 11:15 for a picture.
